At Meadow Interpreting, we provide professional British Sign Language (BSL) translation services delivered by skilled Deaf Translators registered with the NRCPD. We support a wide range of areas including publicity campaigns, websites, social media, information and training videos, legal content, healthcare information, and more — helping you make your message accessible to Deaf BSL users.
Deaf Translators bring cultural insight and native fluency in BSL, ensuring your content is clear, engaging, and meaningful. Whether you’re creating a promotional video, updating your website, or sharing key information on social media, we help you connect directly and effectively with Deaf audiences.
We’re passionate about making businesses, organisations, and services more inclusive. BSL translation removes communication barriers, builds trust, and shows your commitment to accessibility.
All our Deaf Translators are NRCPD-registered professionals who follow strict standards, including confidentiality and professional conduct. We’ll work closely with you to make sure every translation reflects your message, values, and purpose.

We offer bespoke Deaf Awareness Training sessions tailored to your needs — from short one-hour workshops to full-day courses. These can be delivered either online or face-to-face, depending on what works best for you.
Our sessions can also include an introduction to British Sign Language (BSL), giving participants practical tools to communicate more confidently with Deaf people.
The training is engaging, informative, and designed to increase understanding of Deaf culture, communication tips, and the everyday barriers Deaf people may face. Whether you’re a business, healthcare provider, school, or community organisation, we’ll work with you to design a session that fits your team and your goals.
Get in touch to discuss your needs — we’re happy to adapt the training to suit your setting, schedule, and audience.

At Meadow Interpreting, we provide experienced British Sign Language (BSL) Interpreters and Deaf Relay Interpreters (BSL/Intralingual) across the UK. Whether it’s for legal settings, community events, mental health appointments, media projects, or medical visits — we’ve got it covered.
We carefully match each booking with the right interpreter to make sure communication flows smoothly and naturally for everyone involved.
With over 10 years of hands-on experience, we understand what kind of support works best. We pride ourselves on offering a reliable, high-quality service with a personal touch — helping to build real connections between Deaf people and service providers.
All the interpreters we work with are freelance professionals. They are registered with NRCPD (or a similar body), DBS-checked, and follow strict professional standards around confidentiality. Qualified BSL Interpreters wear a yellow badge, and Trainee Interpreters wear a purple badge — both renewed every year through their registration body.
Meadow Interpreting offers an in-house advocacy service specifically for Deaf people, led by an experienced advocate with over 10 years of supporting the Deaf community across England. Our service is completely independent and confidential.
We’re here to support Deaf people who are facing difficult or complex situations — whether it’s with health and social care, education, housing, or other life issues. We help clients understand their rights, explore their options, and make sure their voice is heard and respected.
If you need advocacy support, please contact your local council to make a referral. If you’re unsure how to do this or would like more information, feel free to get in touch — we’re here to support you every step of the way.
We operate a text mobile out-of-hours service and we deal the bookings via email at hello@meadowinterpreting.co.uk and eventbrite booking
